In the 2021 Budget The UK Chancellor of the Exchequer, Rishi Sunak stated that “an economy built on innovation must be open and attractive the ‘best and brightest minds’.” He added, “a third of our science Nobel Laureates have been immigrants. Half of our fastest-growing companies have a foreign-born founder.”  Clearly, attracting the best and the brightest to the UK is seen as vital to the Government, and they are making changes to the UK Visa system for international talent to be launched in the Spring of 2022.
