A huge thank you to everyone who completed the recent ARP survey. Your input is invaluable in helping to shape the future of the ARP, making it a beneficial, rewarding and (importantly!) fun network to be part of.
We’ve listened to you – now we’re going to turn your feedback into action.
Who’s behind the new initiatives?
The newly-formed Communications and Events Committee has been tasked with reimagining the ARP’s social calendar and communications. Our task is to engage, excite, and enchant ARP members, making the association the go-to place for the relocation industry - all while having a little fun along the way!
The Committee is made up of a team of industry greats:
- Jo Webb – Head of OrbiRelo, Ariosi (Chair)
- Debbie Ward – Corporate Services Director, Clearview Relocation (Representing the ARP board)
- Oliver Beswick – Director, Beswick Relocation Services (Representing the ARP board)
- Chrissy Twigg – Founder, The Relocation Partnership
- Catrina Kemp – Marketing Executive, Icon Relocation
- Geraldine Collett – Strategic Partnerships Manager, Halo Finance
- Ashley Winston – Founder, Palmdale Relocation Car Finders
- Jeremy Chandar – MD, Pinewood Relocations
- Rob Somner – Senior Global Sales Manager, Cheval Collection
- Kearon McCarthy – Global Director of Key Accounts, StayCity Group
- James Hooper – Director, Oceanair International Movers Ltd
- Tad Zurlinden – CEO, ARP
- Briony Horwood, Operations Manager, ARP
Key takeaways from the survey
- Membership perks: You want to see more benefits to being an ARP member and clarity on what these benefits are. The C&E committee are working hard to review our current partnerships and find new ones to deliver more value to you – we’ll be sharing some exciting discounts and exclusive membership perks soon!
- Your priorities: Networking opportunities, communication and more industry insights are important to you – so those are at the top of our to-do list.
- ARP and EuRA: Many of our members are unclear about the differences between the ARP and EuRA, so we’re working on ways to better distinguish the two going forward. While both the ARP and EuRA are dedicated to supporting relocation professionals, the ARP is uniquely focused on championing the UK relocation industry specifically. We’re the voice of UK relocation, with a targeted approach to local standards, advocacy, and government relations.
